Reflections from families using ScholarShift Academy

Families typically come to ScholarShift Academy looking for clarity, consistency, and a more structured approach to academic support. The feedback below reflects how families experience the programme over time.

Blue Sky Clouds
“What stood out for us was the continuity. Previously, tutoring felt very fragmented, different tutors, different approaches, and no real sense of progress. Here, having the same scholar each week meant there was context and follow-through. The written feedback after sessions also helped us understand what was being worked on and how things were developing over time.”
Parent of a GCSE student, Hong Kong
"We weren’t looking for short-term exam preparation. We wanted something more structured that could sit alongside school and provide steady academic guidance. The regular sessions, combined with the feedback and periodic reviews, gave us confidence that support was purposeful rather than reactive.”
Parent of an IGCSE student, Singapore
“The reporting made a big difference for us. We didn’t need to sit in lessons or manage follow-ups, but we always knew where our child was academically and what the focus was. It felt organised and well thought through.”
Parent of an A-Level student, UK
“What we appreciated most was that this didn’t feel like typical tutoring. There was a clear structure, the scholar understood our child well over time, and the approach felt calm rather than rushed. That suited us much better than trying different tutors or one-off sessions.”

Begin with a £35 Academic Review

The Academic Review is a one-to-one session with a UK university scholar, focused on understanding the student’s current academic position, learning approach, and priorities.

The conversation helps establish a clear starting point and informs how any ongoing support would be structured.

Following the review, we outline a clear academic approach and next steps, including how ongoing mentorship would be structured if the family chooses to continue.
